We’re an independent Club, one of many up and down the country. We’ve been independent since we were established in 1968.
We are affiliated to Scuba Diving International(SDI) which is part of Technical Diving International (TDI) one of the largest training agencies in the world. This means that the Qualifications that we issue are accepted worldwide. –
For the experienced diver, this means that we can easily accept your qualifications from almost any other organisation. Just a check on your certificates, a short pool session with one of our members and that’s it.
For trainees, it means that we can teach you to dive in a relaxed, unhurried style with no deadlines to meet. There is no charge for our tuition, other than the purchase of an SDI training pack which, amongst other things, gives you access to their on-line theory training system. Any additional lectures and all the practical training and instruction is given free of charge.
Unlike some organisations, no-one here is paid for what they do – we do it all voluntarily because we want to pass on the skills that were taught to us.
Being a club, means that we encourage you to train with us, dive with us and stay with us.

Our twin engined dive boat, kept in Brighton Marina, has the range to take you in comfort to many varied dive sites. It is complete with a diver lift at the stern to make your diving as effortless as possible. Tea and coffee can be brewed all day and there are even the facilities to warm your pies at lunch time.
